The Breakthrough Forum is focused on reducing harm to our people, our whānau and our communities. One of our core objectives is to develop easy pathways for individuals looking for the best help. Below is a list of support services to help you or your loved one through addiction and substance abuse categorised by location.
Fostering Kids helps caregivers, including whānau caregivers, look after children. Support includes training sessions, group meetings, family day events and meeting other caregivers living in your area.
NA is made up of addicts who are trying to help each other recover from using drugs and make changes in their lives. Recovery by attending meetings, working the 12 Steps, finding a sponsor, helping other addicts stay clean and reading NA literature.
